We are the Salt and the Light
Keep it Salty is a church based on God's faithfulness, and the expression of the overflow of gratitude in His faithfulness. We seek to passionately love God and others, preserving His light in the broken world. It is our confidence God will pour out His Spirit and find His church. We are here to receive and ignite His outpouring.
"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Our Story
It All Started With a Promise
"Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

Keep It Salty started as a home church led by Andrea that experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, resulting in baptism, deliverance, and miraculous healings. It has always been a small church family focused on personal growth and admiration of God, not growth in numbers. Eventually, the Lord led us to build a church building which we believe He wants to fill for His glory.
Our Values
Non-Denominational
We believe the Spirit transcends denominations, and that any laws placed by man inhibit the work of God. We believe Jesus taught radical freedom, and the miracle of change within. We also believe that Christ teaches unity within His Body, and that labels create division — drawing lines where He drew none. When we call ourselves by a name other than His, we risk building walls between brothers and sisters who share one Spirit, one Lord, one faith. So we choose to be known simply by our love for Him and for one another, holding fast to His prayer that we may all be one, and trusting the Holy Spirit to bind us together where human titles would pull us apart.
Rooted in Scripture
The Bible is our foundation. Every sermon, decision, and outreach begins with God's Word. We believe that the scripture is our pathway to truth. We also believe that truth must be interpreted through the lens of the Holy Spirit. This is why, we seek to help nurture each individual's relationship with God while teaching them how to read the Bible for themselves. We focus on understanding the history, culture, and connections within the Bible. Ultimately, intending to equip each person in the church with the ability to read and understand Gods word and how He is speaking into their life through it.
The Trinity is Three and One
We acknowledge and value all three members of the Godhead — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and their individual roles in our relationship with our one true God, and we believe they are all of equal importance in our walk with Him.
Freedom in Christ
We believe in the fullness of freedom that can be found in Christ Jesus. We believe God faithfully keeps His promises and blesses us with an inheritance of the Holy Spirit. Giving us peace, wisdom, freedom from all bondage, and an intimate, tangible, relationship with Him that has transformative power not from our own strength, but through His.
Transparent Community
We believe that everyone should feel comfortable being themselves. We do not believe in people wearing masks at church. Change happens sometimes radically, and sometimes gradually, but usually a combination of the two. We believe in being candid with one another.
Freedom Filled Environment
We believe that everyone should feel free to express themselves in worship, and that church services should be a safe zone. Feel free to cry, dance and sing, as long as we are being respectful of the service and one another.
